Lo.Res
Have you ever been walking down the street, and seen in someone's window while they're watching TV? Except you can't see the TV, just the light playing off the walls and ceilings.
Lo.Res is inspired by that experience. Essentially, it is an entire movie, where every frame has been reduced to one color, and those colors are fed into an RGB LED in sequence, creating the lowest possible resolution of that movie.
It premiered at Maryland's 2011 RobotFest, showing The Wizard of Oz

Lo.Res was on view at the 2011 RobotFest, where tech enthusiasts young and old enjoyed it.

At RobotFest, it was accompanied by this page.

This video only approximates the effect of the piece, due to the difficulty of recording light art.
